What a trio!

Hey whats all the fuss about?

It's been a rough week. Kyan came down with a fever and has to spend three days in the hospital's ICU unit but he's definitely on the improve. He was his photogenic self this evening when we paid him a long visit. Posted by Picasa

As long as you're comfortable!

One of Kyan's favourite places to nap is on Mum's belly after a tasty meal. Luckily Mum doesn't seem to mind. Posted by Picasa

It's been a long day...

Kyan and his Lion buddy

One of Kyan's favourite places to chill is on his own armchair. ala Dad's raised, mohair stockinged legs. Posted by Picasa

Safe in the arms of love.

Like mother like son...

About a month ago we showed you this black and white picture of Rae, Tam's Mum, cradling baby Tam from October 1975 when she was one week old.
Thirty years, one month and one week(thereabouts) later, we recreated that same shot in our home here in Fengyuan, this time with Tam cradling Kyan.
The resemblence is pretty amazing! Posted by Picasa

Just rapt!

One of the nurses in the baby room thought it would be fun to wrap the two little babes up for this picture. We have to admit they do make a cute couple! Posted by Picasa

Size matters!

Western babies are quite a bit bigger than the locals. On average Taiwanese babies are between 2.6 to 3.5kg. Kyan was 4.240kg. No wonder the Doc nearly had a heart-attack! Here 3 day old Kyan gets acquainted with a one month old little girl.

Red and black forever!

Despite 'vicious' rumors he would be a Demons supporter, Kyan showed his true colors as an Essendon supporter on day 2. Posted by Picasa

Pass the parcel

We are so lucky to have some great friends over here in Taiwan. They were all so happy for us (the three of us) and they all leapt at the chance to hold Ky(alhough I think he slept through most of it!)
