September 24 2005. Tam at 36.5 weeks. She still looks great and is doing really well with Nipper now only a matter of weeks away. Fridays Doctor's appointment revealed that Nipper is now a whopping 3.8kg. His/her belly is a healthy size and his/her head's diameter clocks in at 9.8mm(Thanks Granpa Al!). Tam sleeps a lot - as to be expected - and has quite a bit of back pain but besides that is doing great. She can't wait to be a Mum, and just quietly Dad can't wait either.  

After our last picture of the passenger, Tam made a comment that maybe bubs had my(Tim's) nose. However one swift email from Tam's mum, Rae, later and we realised that maybe we were wrong. Here's a picture from October 1975 of Tam at one week old being cradled by her superproud Mum. Tam arrived with a healthy shock of black hair and from the last 3D pic it looks like Nipper may follow her lead. Thanks to Tam's Mum and Dad for this great shot. As you can see she's always been a cutie!

September 10 2005. Nipper tips the scales at more than 3.2kg as the doctor frets about the potential size of what looks like - in Taiwanese terms at least - a bohemeth of a baby. In this shot you can clearly make out the eyes, nose, cheeks, upper lip and what looks like a finger pointing at the camera ala Uncle Nipper wants you. Tam thinks he/she has my nose atlhough it looks like its being pressed up against a windshield in this picture. Today, while in a department store bathroom, I simulated the same nose meeting windshield look in the mirror and I've got to say, I think she may be right.  

Hey there this is me, Nipper! Look I don't mind having my picture taken but now's not good for me how about coming back later, ok...HEY I SAID LATER! 

August 28 2005. At 32 weeks Tam's belly continues to grow at a steady rate. Nipper entertains his Mum to be by karate kicking her in the rib cage,always at the most inconvinient of times, and by perfoming his/her own version of the Mexican wave. During the latter, Tam always laughs as the small bump, created by Nippers tiny fingers, runs across the top of her stomach. Without the opportunity to take a regular le mars class, Tam has been doing nightly breathing exercises to prepare for the contractions with Tim as her stopwatch weilding coach. Not long to go now, but still feeling as if there is so much that needs to be done, we look forward to our next peek at the insider which we should see next Friday.
